About Kristin Burke ...

Kristin began riding at the age of 3. She was fortunate enough to grow up in a family with a background in the horse business, and riding quickly became a natural passion for her.

When Kristin was 12, she successfully started her first horse under saddle; a 3yr. old Purebred Arabian filly by the name of KhyndaSpecial KpM. After a few months, she and her horse moved to a local Arabian show barn in Temecula, Ca. Under the instruction of the trainers at this facility, Kristin continued to develop her riding skills and was further introduced into the Arabian competition circuit.

Since then, Kristin has worked under a handful of other credible trainers to help expand her knowledge of the horse industry and to strengthen her training skills. She continues to actively ride and compete successfully with multiple wins in both english and western disciplines, including hunter pleasure, country and english pleasure, show hack, sport horse, western pleasure, halter, driving, costume, and reining, and has also competed in all of the equitation divisions in between.

Although she specializes in Arabian and Half Arabian show horses, she has plenty of experience with a variety of other breeds as well. Kristin's training program emphasizes effective and rewarding teaching to both horse and rider, and focuses on building from the ground up; whether you have a young horse that needs to be started, a horse that you wish to show or to sell, or even a horse that just needs a tune-up.
